AUTOMATED VERTICAL METAL SHEET STORAGE SYSTEM

This project aims to introduce an Automated Vertical Metal Sheet Storage System. The project is aimed at teaching how to make an Automation Vertical Metal Sheet Storage System with the integration of microcontroller devices. The project is divided into two main sections, which are the structure and control systems of the Automation Vertical Metal Sheet Storage System that will be designed and drawn through a computer program and constructed using major aluminum structures upon completion of their actual sizes outlined in the programs. Also, a Microcontroller control system using GX Works 2 program from Mitsubishi PLC has been designed for this purpose where it controls up and down movements as well as sideways movement of the pallet. It also has a weighing capability along with touch screen display for displaying information about the steel plates and controlling the Automation Vertical Metal Sheet Storage System with safety light curtain that protect users safety. These tests have shown that the machine operates normally. There are few mistakes whose rates fall within those expected by humans.

Café Customer Classification and Behavioral Analysis

In a highly competitive business, understanding customers is crucial for an organization to determine its success. Effective marketing is not just about offering good products, promotions, or services; it also requires strategies to reach and build strong relationships with customer groups. Segmenting customers is one method that helps businesses deeply understand the needs and behaviors of the customers who use their services In this internship, the objective is to understand the behavior of customers purchasing coffee and tea at a large cafe group by analyzing stored customer data. As a result of this process, customer groups purchasing coffee and tea were segmented using Naive Bayes, Random Forest, and Deep Learning techniques to compare the accuracy and suitability of different Machine Learning methods, and the insights gained from this analysis can be for further development in analyzing other data set in the future

Web Application for Shrimp Feed Transportation Route Optimization: A Case Study of an Animal Feed Store

Efficient logistics management requires the development of advanced tools to streamline delivery operations. This study aims to optimize vehicle routes for an animal feed store and develop a web-based application for route planning. The research compares two optimization methods: the Branch and Bound Method and Clustering with the Branch and Bound Method. These methods are evaluated against the store’s existing delivery route by analyzing differences in average travel distance across three dependent groups using Repeated Measures ANOVA. The findings reveal a statistically significant difference in average daily travel distances among the three methods at a 0.05 significance level. The Branch and Bound Method yields the shortest average daily travel distance. Additionally, pairwise comparisons of total daily travel distances using the Paired t-test confirm that the Branch and Bound Method produces the most efficient route with statistical significance at 0.05 level. Implementing this method can reduce total travel distance by 957.51, representing a 30.88% reduction, which translates into fuel cost savings of 2,579.45 THB per month. Based on these results, the Branch and Bound Method was selected for implementation in a web-based application. The application features an intuitive user interface, product inventory management, and optimized daily delivery route recommendations for the case study store. Following development, the web application was deployed and tested in real-world operations. The results demonstrate that it effectively provides map-based route recommendations, ensuring ease of use and accessibility on standard mobile devices.

Herbal inhaler Homyen

Herbal inhaler Homyen

The innovation of aromatic and cooling inhalers stems from the widespread use of inhalers in modern times. This innovation aims to elevate the product to suit contemporary lifestyles, incorporating Thai identity in a way that resonates with the younger generation. The development focuses on enhancing scents using locally sourced Thai ingredients, adding value to Thai flowers and fruits. Various extraction methods are employed to preserve the fragrance for a longer duration. Additionally, borneol, camphor, and menthol are blended to provide a refreshing and cooling sensation. For the packaging, polymer clay is used to create the container, which is hand-molded and then baked to harden. Instead of a traditional cap, a fabric covering is used to introduce a unique and innovative alternative to conventional inhalers.

Processed pineapple

The goal of the processed pineapple study is to reduce the number of pineapples wasted as a result of climate change and to determine the best way for processing different pineapple species. The drying method, also known as dehydration, is chosen for processing because it is appropriate for the variety's features and will provide the maximum benefit while reducing waste, resulting in the most value for the product. This study was carried out to develop the processing of new kinds, use various processing principles to adapt to this pineapple variety, raise the value of agricultural goods, significantly reduce waste, and provide marketing potential in the future.

DESIGNING AND DEVELOPING INNOVATIONS TO ENHANCE THE EFFICIENCY OF ANALYZING QUALITY OF SERVICE MONITORING FOR MOBILE PHONE SERVICES

Under The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), the Telecommunication Enforcement Bureau collects a lot of data on service quality by monitoring and controlling the quality of telecommunications services, mainly by assessing mobile network infrastructure. The NBTC used Microsoft Excel for data analysis but became ineffective and slow. We used Python programming for preparation, analysis, and data processing to address this. Raw data was obtained from the Syberiz program in CSV format, processed in Python, and displayed on a dashboard. The dashboard, developed using Power BI, meets NBTC's telecommunications quality standards. It features maps, test results, and graphical representations. This method enhances the dashboard's appearance and usability and speeds up data processing and visualization compared to Microsoft Excel. This project is primarily designed to help the Telecommunication Enforcement Bureau's operations by making data processing and display for telecommunications quality monitoring faster, more effective, and easier to use.

"Blood D": Application and Campaign for Physically and Mentally Preparation of Thai Red Cross’s Blood Doner

In the world of blood donation, there are 2 types of people: those who donate blood and those who don't. Most campaigners emphasize how to persuade more people to donate blood and recruit more new blood donors. We believe that even though such focus is important, there're more critical aspects that might have been neglected, which is: for those who have already made up their minds to be blood doners, will they be successful in donating when the time comes? According to our studies, only 63 % of attempted doners are successful. Regrettably, 37 % has to go home disappointed as their bodies are not fit for the conditions required by Red Cross medical staff at blood donation centers (which include some most basic preparations such as low-fat food intake and 8-hours sleep on the night before). Our campaign, ‘Blood in Need, Buddy Indeed’, focuses on 2 aspects. Firstly, to persuade more people to donate blood. Secondly, for those who have made up their minds to donate blood, we will provide necessary support (both body and mind) so that they are fully prepared and successful in donating blood when the time comes via networks of systems, staffs and the newly designed and prototype of the application ‘Blood D’. Our campaign covers the whole ‘before/during/after’ experience of users (as blood doners). Support includes assessment of their current condition whether they are within the requirement of Red Cross Blood Bank. ‘Blood D’ will also provide relevant information on blood donating events, such as locations, and time booking. Once sign-up, the application “Blood D” will sent friendly reminder and clear infographic on how to prepare their bodies as daily notifications during the 7 days countdown. This is to ensure that the users’ blood will be ‘D’ (homophone of the Thai word ‘ดี’ which mean ‘good’ and at the same time playing on the word ‘ Buddy’) or be the ‘good blood’ that can save lives for those in need. After organizing 4 blood donation events both within and outside the KMITL. The numbers of successful blood doners have increased from 63 % to 78 % (this number is the average of 4 events, with the most successful event of 89%). The campaign has won the first runner up in national blood donation campaign competition. It is highly anticipated that once the application “Blood D” is fully launched, it will help increase the amount of blood collected up to 15% with the same numbers of existing doners.
