A Modern Ultrasonic Cleaning Tank Developed for the Jewelry Manufacturing Process and Its Cleaning Efficiency

Ultrasonic cleaning tank is a machine that many factories widely used to clean objects. At one factory, a problem occurred in the cleaning process, resulting in the factory not being able to clean objects, but cracks also appeared on some objects. It was anticipated that these were caused by uneven acoustics pressure distribution which resulted in unsuitable cavitation This directly affected cleaning performance within the tank. In order to improve the tank's efficacy, in this research, we use Harmonic Response Analysis in ANSYS simulate simulate the occurrence of acoustic pressure in the tank to find the appropriate conditions of factors affected the intensity and the distribution pattern of acoustic pressure in ultrasonic tank, including the position of object, power, ultrasonic frequency and a suitable type and placing position of the transducer for the tank. Reliability of the simulate results was validate by the actual result from the foil corrosion test and the ultrasonic power probe. We found that objects receive different pattern of corrosion at each location. When temperature increasing the intensity of cavitation was increased. When we increase the ultrasonic frequency, acoustic pressure that is evenly dispersed throughout the tank.

TOOTHBRUSH APPEARANCE FACTORS THAT AFFECT BABY BOOMERS' PURCHASING DECISIONS

This study aims to identify the toothbrush appearance factors that affect baby boomers purchasing decisions. The research divide into three stages: The first stage is to classify the toothbrush appearance factors through a review of literature, research, and examining toothbrushes currently available on the market, summarizing them as appearance factors. The second stage is to summarize the results of the toothbrush appearance factors to create a multiple-choice questionnaire in three dimensions: purchasing decisions, aesthetics, and functionality. Collecting data from a group of 30 Baby Boomers aged 57-75 years old. The last stage is to summarize the three dimensions of appearance factors affecting baby boomers' toothbrush purchasing decisions and report as percentages and rank them. The research findings indicate that the most significant toothbrush appearance factor is a "Curved handle," accounting for 80%, followed by “Multi-level bristles” at 70%, a "Rubber thumb rest" at 53.3%, "Handle divided into more than two parts" at 50%, and “Offset shape” at 40%, respectively. In terms of the reason for purchasing decision based on various factors are as follows: the curved handle and offset shape give a sense of purchase with its aesthetic, While the selection of multi-level bristles, the Rubber thumb rest, and the handle divided into more than two parts due to functionality.

Aspect-Based Sentiment Analysis for E-Commerce Product Reviews

In today’s rapidly expanding e-commerce environment, the massive volume of product reviews makes it crucial to summarize user opinions in a way that is both comprehensible and practically applicable. This research presents a system for analyzing product reviews using Aspect-Based Sentiment Analysis (ABSA), a Natural Language Processing (NLP) technique that identifies key aspects of a review (such as shipping, product quality, and packaging) and evaluates the sentiment (positive, negative, or neutral) associated with each aspect, allowing both consumers and merchants to gain more efficient access to in-depth insights. This project focuses on developing AI for Thai-language ABSA by utilizing WangchanBERTa, a model trained on Thai data, and comparing it with various standard approaches such as TF-IDF + Logistic Regression, Word2Vec + BiLSTM, and Multilingual BERT (mBERT/XLM-R) to assess their performance in terms of accuracy, speed, and resource usage. Additionally, a dashboard visualization is provided to help users quickly grasp review trends. The expected outcome is to create an AI tool that can be practically employed in the e-commerce industry, enabling consumers to make easier purchasing decisions and assisting merchants in effectively improving their products and services.

An Analysis of Different Essential Components of Flight Plan Operations at Low Altitude

This analysis focuses on the essential components of flight plans when operating at low altitudes. The study explores the critical elements that pilots and flight operators must consider to guarantee the safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft while flying at low altitudes. By examining factors such as weather conditions, airspace restrictions, terrain considerations, and emergency procedures, this analysis aims to provide valuable insights into optimizing flight planning processes for low-altitude operations

A dual coil induction heating machine for jewelry factories developed by electromagnetic analysis

Induction Heating Machine (IHM) is a crucial device in the jewelry industry, utilizing electromagnetic fields to generate heat and join precious metals. This research focuses on developing a Dual Coil Induction Heating Machine (Dual Coil IHM) to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs in jewelry factories using Electromagnetic Analysis (EMA) through Ansys Maxwell software. The research process began with testing a single-coil IHM under real operating conditions and using EMA to analyze the generated magnetic flux density (B). Subsequently, dual-coil configurations in Parallel and Series arrangements were designed and compared. The experimental results revealed that the series dual coil produced a higher magnetic flux and allowed for optimizing current (I), frequency (f), number of coil turns (N), and coil spacing (d) for better manufacturing performance. The findings indicate that the series dual-coil IHM can double production capacity compared to the conventional single-coil model. Furthermore, EMA technology minimizes physical testing, reduces errors, and enhances precision in designing industrial machinery for the jewelry manufacturing sector.

The use of Houttuynia cordata Thunb and Piper retrofractum Vahl extracts to inhibit opportunistic infections in patient with atopic dermatitis

Atopic dermatitis patients are the second largest number among skin disease patients. There is no cure for atopic dermatitis, and it can only be treated to relieve symptoms, causing chronic disease. There is a chance that opportunistic infections will enter and cause more disease from the patient's wound, causing the patient to have complications from other infections. This study is interested in studying the reduction of the chance of opportunistic infections in patients with atopic dermatitis using natural extracts. The interest is in Plu Kaow and long pepper because there is data supporting the inhibition of microorganisms. The leaves of both plants are crudely extracted, soaked in 95% ethanol for 7 days, filtered with a Buchner filter, and the extracts are tested for phytochemicals to analyze phenolic components, flavonoids, tannins, anthocyanin, DPPH, and tested for antimicrobial properties. The experiments consisted of 5 types of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria: E. coli, Bacillus subtilis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, and Staphylococcus epidermidis. The researcher expects that this can be further developed and used to treat patients with atopic dermatitis.

Classifying children's writing skill levels using image processing

Currently, the issue of developmental writing disabilities in children is a matter of great importance for school-age children. Diagnosing whether a child has developmental writing disabilities relies on writing skill assessments, which are administered to those seeking diagnosis and evaluated by medical professionals or experts. However, there are still limitations in the diagnostic process, which depends heavily on expert physicians, leading to a high demand for human resources. To address this, we have developed a method for scoring writing skill assessments using image processing technology, based on existing scoring criteria. Currently, three criteria are used for scoring: writing position, article format, and copying speed. We have also created a web application to make the system more accessible and easier to use.
