Supplementing broilers with different levels of fructooligosaccharides (FOS) under stress conditions, such as higher stocking densities and recycled litter that were not a significant difference in broiler performance, carcass quality and meat quality between the FOS-supplemented groups and the control group (p>0.05). FOS supplementation improved intestinal health by increasing the villus height to crypt depth ratio Lactobacillus populations increased, and Escherichia coli decreased with FOS supplementation. The heterophil-to-lymphocyte ratio was reduced which indicated lower stress.

In Thailand, the quantity of old tires has been increasing annually, posing a significant environmental challenge due to their non-biodegradable material. However, old tires contain an internal porous structure, which suggests their potential application as sound-absorbing materials. Porosity is a key characteristic that enables materials to trap sound waves, making them effective for noise reduction. Therefore, this study aims to investigate and develop sound-absorbing materials from old tire rubber powder. The methodology involved mixing old tire powder with fresh latex at a ratio of 1:2, followed by drying at a temperature of 120°C for four hours. Subsequently, the physical properties influencing sound absorption, including density, porosity, and water absorption, were analyzed. The results indicated that the sound-absorbing material produced from old tire rubber powder showed a density of 0.96 g/cm³, a porosity value of 0.45, and a water absorption of 11.03%. Therefore, the findings suggest that old tire rubber powder has the potential to be effectively utilized as a sound-absorbing material.

The photoelectrochemical detection of salbutamol, which is illicitly used as a lean meat promoter in pigs, is investigated using a molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP)-based sensor with a CuO/g-C₃N₄ nanocomposite to enhance detection performance, leveraging nanomaterials and molecular imprinting for high selectivity and sensitivity. This approach offers a promising strategy for the precise and efficient analysis of salbutamol in food samples.

This project explores the therapeutic potential of binaural beats within a 3D soundscape environment, focusing on the effects of left-right (L-R) beating sound positioning. Using Dolby Atmos technology to create immersive auditory experiences, the research aims to investigate how varying spatial beating sound placements in binaural beat therapy influence mental and emotional healing. Binaural beats, a form of auditory brainwave entrainment, have been shown to promote relaxation, reduce anxiety, and enhance cognitive performance. However, there has been limited exploration of how spatial sound technologies, like Dolby Atmos, can enhance the efficacy of these therapies. This study examines how different beating L-R configurations in a 3D soundscape impact the listener’s perception and therapeutic outcomes. Participants will experience binaural beat sessions in various beating L-R orientations, and physiological and psychological measures, such as heart rate variability and self-reported relaxation levels, will be assessed. The results are expected to provide new insights into the interaction between spatial audio environments and sound-based therapies, potentially improving sound therapy practices by leveraging advanced audio technologies.
