This study aims to investigate the co-fermentation process between lactic acid bacteria (LAB) and Saccharomyces cerevisiae in the production of sour beer, with a focus on its impact on product quality, including pH, organic acid content, sugar content, and sensory characteristics. In this experiment, selected LAB strains and S. cerevisiae were utilized under controlled fermentation conditions. The microbial ratio was optimized to enhance growth and the production of key compounds. The findings indicate that co-fermentation significantly reduces pH compared to fermentation with yeast alone. Furthermore, an increase in lactic acid was observed due to sugar consumption by LAB, contributing to the distinctive flavor profile of sour beer.

The objective of this research is to utilize waste slag in industrial applications and help mitigate flooding, water accumulation, and ponding issues. Currently, slag from the steel smelting or refining process is commonly used as a component in construction materials, such as road surfaces. However, slag has properties that make it difficult for water to permeate, leading to poor drainage and increased flooding problems. This study focuses on improving the properties of pavement materials to enhance their strength and water permeability. This can be achieved through physical structural modifications or the addition of chemical agents such as HPMC, which increases void spaces to facilitate water absorption and drainage according to required standards. The utilization of waste slag not only helps reduce production costs and improve material performance but also minimizes environmental impacts and promotes the sustainable use of resources.

The risk of chronic diseases among the elderly often results in limitations in treatment, making it difficult for most patients to achieve a complete recovery. This necessitates continuous care and the provision of accurate information and guidance about cancer. However, current health record systems for patients lack effective interconnectivity, which hinders data analysis and the development of patient care models. Additionally, incorrect information about cancer spread across social media can lead to misunderstandings among elderly patients. To address these issues, researchers have developed a chatbot system that utilizes Natural Language Processing (NLP) technology to understand human language and accurately respond to questions about elderly cancer patient care. The chatbot provides reliable and up-to-date information based on medical knowledge sourced from a database reviewed by healthcare professionals. Furthermore, a web application has been developed to record and analyze patient assessments according to medical standards, enabling healthcare providers to plan and develop appropriate treatment approaches in a better way. This system also facilitates data sharing and connectivity across hospital systems, allowing information to be used to enhance the precision and modernity of treatment approaches. In addition, the chatbot acts as an assistant, providing information and guidance to patients, reducing the workload of healthcare staff in answering questions and encouraging patients to take a more active role in managing their own health.
